Food intolerance testing

what is a food intolerance?

Up to 45% of the population suffer with symptoms of food intolerance. Whilst not life threatening, it can have a big impact on your quality of life. When you eat or dfood-intolerance-oranmorerink a particular food your body can produce a variety of inflammatory responses as it identifies the food as a threat. Unlike an allergic reaction, a food intolerance can be delayed up to 72 hours and vary in severity affecting comprehensive digestion, skin, joints and energy levels.

what does a food intolerance test involve?

I will take a simple finger prick blood test and send it to a laboratory for analysis. Results will be available within 14 days. You can then return for your second consultation where we will go through your comprehensive test results and any dietary changes you should make.

what does a food intolerance test cost?

A food intolerance test costs €250. This includes a blood analysis, comprehensive results and follow up appointment.

is it an accurate test?

There are so many different types of ‘Intolerance Tests’ available at the moment.
The test I offer is an IgG blood test which is analysed in an accredited, monitored and quality controlled laboratory.
